Ross Goralnick, CEO

Ross Goralnick is a recognized expert in market research driven commercial due diligence, competitive intelligence and strategic planning.  He founded Lumeric in 2009 to provide uniquely clear answers to support critical business decisions by exploiting in-depth qualitative research to shed light on the implications of quantitative research.  Over the course of the past seven years, Ross has overseen the completion of 100+ projects with most focused in Lumeric’s sectors of expertise: cleantech, healthcare, industrial products and B2B new media.  Prior to founding Lumeric, Ross ran the U.S. operations of AMR International, a Europe based provider of commercial due diligence services.  Before entering consulting, Ross spent the bulk of his career with the BOC Group holding several management positions in the company’s pharmaceutical and industrial products divisions.  He holds MBA and MEM degrees from the Kellogg and McCormick School’s at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Finance from Babson College. Jim Schwartz is a recognized authority in media, marketing, and social research.  During his 25+ years career he has directed research at several prominent national organizations including Newsweek and Consumer Reports.  Jim has conducted hundreds of quantitative and qualitative research projects with consumers, subscribers, readers, advertisers and purchase decision makers.  His areas of expertise include advertiser buying trends, branding, corporate image, customer satisfaction and subscriber engagement.  He has been an active member in several national research associations including AMA, ASA, MPA, OPA and the American Association for Public Opinion Research, where he was elected to serve on the NY-AAPOR Executive Council. Jim received his MA-PhD from New York University and his BA from the University of Minnesota.

Jon GILBERT, SEnior Consultant

Jon Gilbert has extensive senior management and consulting experience in the chemicals, electronics and transportation industries. Over the course of his 23 year career, he has been in charge of sales & operations planning at BOC/Edwards Electronic Gases, a producer of specialty gases and chemicals used in electronics manufacturer, Director of Operations at MF Electronics, an electronic components manufacturer and VP of Distribution for NuCO2, a national carbon dioxide distributor. Jon has particular expertise in identifying strategic opportunities for business improvement, benchmarking and value/supply chain optimization. He holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business and New York University and a BS from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.



Lucinda Nicholson, Senior Manager

Prior to working with Lumeric, Lucinda spent four years in management consulting with AMR International’s London office.  In this capacity she ran over 25 strategy review, commercial due diligence and market analysis projects, most covering multiple European and international locations. Her areas of sector expertise include B2B media, construction and industrial products. She also has considerable operational experience having built up a French customer base for a South African steel manufacturer before AMR. Lucinda is a native of the UK and is fluent in French.  She has a degree in Classics and Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.
